Applications:
To Treat Existing
Black Algae:
1. Brush algae spots
prior to application. If pool is very dirty with heavy algae growth, first
vacuum, clean and scrub walls.
2. Add 12 oz. per
10,000 gallons to a pail of water and distribute along perimeter of the
pool.
Maintenance Dosage
(weekly):
Add 6 oz. per 10,000
gallons. Or add 8 oz. per 10,000 gallons weekly.

Tips:
It is easier to
prevent algae growth than to destroy established algae. To be most effective
against existing algae, add on a warm, sunny day in the morning. Remove
dead settled algae by vacuuming. Please also refer to actual product label
for complete directions and precautionary statements.
Compatible With:
Chlorine, bromine
and ozone sanitizers.
Advantage:
The outer layers
of black algae produce a waxy coat that prevents chlorine and other algaecides
from killing it.
Algimycin 1000 is
specially formulated to penetrate this waxy coat and treat even the deepest
rooted black algae.
